This is an acrylic piece I call, "Healing" and I've been working on this contract illustration for quite some time. I decided to challenge myself with a combined difficult subject for this one including: restricting color (which is not an easy task for me), drawing babies, and painting the human hand.
My new technique, you can see here, of using a combination of images from photography books and making a collage to use as a model for finished imagery. Sometimes it requires shrinking down or enlarging images to make it all work together.
